Director
of sales and Accounts
EmPower Research is looking for a highly motivated individual who can sell and develop a strong pipeline for business research and information services for a high-growth company in the Knowledge Process Outsourcing space. Candidates should have proven sales experience in a related field e.g., Experience in ONE or more of the following verticals is a must - Advertising, Public Relation, Management Consulting, Equity Research, Legal Research, Market Research. EmPower is a Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) company with locations in New York, San Francisco and Bangalore, India.
The role of the Director of Sales and Accounts is multi-dimensional. The primary responsibility is to work with EmPower's New York-based Managing Partner, Debjani Deb, to generate and close sales leads primarily in the New York metropolitan area. The second area of responsibility is to oversee the completion of sold projects and ensure customer satisfaction while promoting organic growth. This role has the potential to evolve into a Management role, as new sales people are hired each quarter, with high growth potential for an individual willing to rise to the challenge. |

This candidate must have the ability to think strategically and analytically in order to effectively assess each research assignment. In addition, this person must be able to assess resource requirements for and staff/train/manage projects accordingly.
The ideal candidate should have an MBA from a reputed school and have 3-8 years of work experience in the management consulting, market research, financial services, telecom and/or IT industry. Having both will be a great plus. This person must be a self-starter, be able to juggle multiple projects and work under varying deadlines. |
