Kyung Han

Managing Partner

Kyung Han is the co-founder and managing partner of EmPower Research. He drives technology initiatives within the organization and is responsible for new product development and innovation. He is also responsible for organization-wide Key Account Management strategy and direction.

Kyung has been instrumental in introducing the right measure of technology and human analytics across EmPower Research’s services landscape. This mix has been the principal differentiator for EmPower Research as clients look to listen and learn from online media.

Prior to setting up EmPower Research, Kyung was a Principal in Booz Allen and Hamilton. Earlier he worked as Strategic Planner with MIT OpenCourseWare, and as an engineer with Mitsubishi.

Kyung is a reputed speaker at various industry events. He has also authored numerous research reports and thought leadership papers. His expertise includes product development, and application of technology in media research.

Kyung has a MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, and a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Duke University.

He is based out of New York, US.
