EmPower Research co-founders recognized by CII as women achievers

BANGALORE, March 06, 2011 – Sangita Joshi and Shoma Bakre, both co-founders and Managing Partners of EmPower Research have been recognized and nominated by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) SR Women’s Empowerment Task Force as two of the established and emerging women achievers from business and entrepreneurs from 5 Southern States [in India] who have shown outstanding leadership in business.

According to a CII communication, the jury believed that recognizing and nominating them will lead to creating more space for women- socially, economically and politically as with their rich and varied background they have kept raising the bar and breaking untouched barriers leaving a trail to follow. They have made a major and remarkable contribution to the development of our country.

The e-compendium on Women Achievers from Southern Region was released on March 5th 2011 at the conference ‘On the Power of Networking’ organized by CII in Chennai, India.
